Lead Teaching Artists

Art Education and Group Art Therapy is an incredibly powerful tool that empowers young individuals to unleash their full potential and create fulfilling careers, most importantly drives positive change in their communities. It is a proven fact that investing in our youth through art education leads to their growth and flourishing in countless ways. Therefore, we must prioritize art education as a crucial component of a well-rounded education system, and ensure that every young individual has access to it. By doing so, we can help them become the best version of themselves and contribute positively to the world around them.

Estrella Fernandez

Elementary School Artist

She continued to hone her skills by taking courses in Fashion Illustration and design at Los Angeles Technical Trade College.

Estrella’s artwork has been exhibited at the Museum of Tolerance, and her beautiful murals and paintings can be seen throughout Los Angeles at various businesses and schools. She has also designed logos, corporate identities, and screen art graphics for a variety of clients, including Madonna’s children’s clothing line, The English Roses. Estrella is not only a talented artist, but she is also passionate about sharing her skills with others.

She teaches children in grades K-8 through her design brand, Fierce Jungle, which offers a range of unique items such as paintings, dolls, masks, body painting, and one-of-a-kind garments. Dominique Neuble

Middle School Artist

Dominique Neuble’s main goal is to contribute to her community by expressing herself and telling stories through creative means. Another objective is to remain authentic and consistent with her values and beliefs, attracting everything she desires and allowing it to flow effortlessly. She aims to make her dreams a reality and inspire the youth to love themselves unapologetically, operate in their truest form, and never give up on themselves. On a lighter note, Dominique loves to connect with others and relax through music, feels happy when near water, and releases her emotions through writing poetry.

Tiffanie Peters

High School Artist

Post-Secondary Artist Otis MFA 2023 Tiffanie Peters is an exceptional individual with a lifelong passion for learning new skills. Her ability to collaborate closely with others in a team environment is unparalleled, and her communication and interpersonal skills are outstanding. Tiffanie is a positive and adaptable professional who can handle change with ease. With over 12 years of experience, she is a reliable and self-sufficient individual who takes initiative and is exceptionally skilled at multitasking. Her people skills are second to none, and she is always willing to go the extra mile to create strong professional relationships. Tiffanie Peters is the perfect candidate for any role requiring flexibility, reliability and exceptional people skills.

J. Ross Parrelli is an award-winning singer-songwriter and an influential member of her community, serving on the school board where she passionately champions diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Her commitment to fostering an inclusive environment has made a significant impact, promoting understanding and collaboration among students and families. In addition to her advocacy work, she is also recognized as an emcee battle winner, showcasing her dynamic presence and engaging performance style in the music scene.

SULTRY SONGSTRESS TURNED COMMUNITY CULTIVATOR. Recently signed to Universal Records, J Ross Parrelli’s repertoire includes rap battles and festival stages from the Bronx to the Bay. Sultry songstress turned community cultivator, J Ross Parrelli’s sound is reminiscent of if Joss Stone had been raised in the same duplex as Notorious B.I.G.

Jared McGhee

Pre-K-2nd grade. This class will focuses on painting, color blending, shapes, and fusing all of that with a clay piece.

Being born in ’87 and growing up in the 90s in the inner cities of South Central Los Angles, you adapt to the trial and error as well as the beauty of “The Culture”. Organically latching to every flavored aesthetic every traumatic experience that I later figured to be generational being born in a family of creatives, and being stimulated by the popularity of television, sports, music, and magazines, I began garnering a spark of drawing. Drawing and reading books became by biggest hobbies all the way to my teenage years, where I began to learn about branding.

Leading into my adulthood I began to grow an interest in painting again. The first experience was not so pleasant, but with attending community college my interest grew back. I couldn’t have picked a better time to take that class. Now, almost 10 years and going I’ve experienced a journey I thought I could never experience through painting, learning, adapting, pain, joy, defeat, growth! A ride I thought I was not ready to take. But it’s been a thrill ever since.

Leon Willis

3rd – 5th grade

Leon is a multidisciplinary artist, educator, and advocate for socio-economic justice. With over two decades of experience, he draws on his background in visual arts, martial arts, and yoga to inspire transformative change through education. A skilled graffiti artist and muralist, Leon leads community beautification initiatives and empowers others to engage in art-driven activism.

He has pioneered trauma-informed, mindfulness-based movement techniques like ALPHABETEX, blending graffiti art, martial arts, and conscious breathing to foster self- expression and conflict resolution. His work spans psychiatric hospitals, non-profits, and correctional facilities, where he promotes radical healing and resilience, especially in underserved communities.

As an artist-in-residence at multiple institutions, Leon teaches experiential arts such as screen printing and mural creation. He remains committed to personal growth and helping others harness the power of artistic expression.

Prop the Producer is a Billboard Award-winning music producer known for his work with notable artists such as E-40, Ludacris, and Raphael Saadiq. His versatile production skills have contributed to numerous hit tracks across different genres in the music industry. In addition to his production work, Prop is a certified Teaching Artist by the John F. Kennedy Center, sharing his expertise and passion for music with aspiring artists and students.
