Art Therapy
In response to the impact that COVID-19 had on our school communities, Manifesting M.E. Wellness, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Corporation, partnered with Pulse Arts, Inc. and co-created an Art Therapy course for Black and Brown students/families. Therapists work with art teachers to create and implement a therapeutic art curriculum through integration of holistic mental-emotional learning and art therapy techniques into art classes and workshops for communities. 
Student mentoring, academic support, work-based learning opportunities, and parent/community engagement workshops can be added to any of our programs.

Participants will co-create a mural with our professional muralist. Location and style will be finalized by the site administrator. Sites are responsible for clearing the location and power washing, if necessary.

Students will participate in grade-level appropriate digital arts classes with industry-level equipment for middle/high school students and the appropriate beginner-level equipment for elementary students.
Cost includes: teaching professional(s), equipment, software/licensing, certification where offered, supplies/materials, post/pre-production, editing, showcasing, and at least one field trip.
* High school students can participate in a work-based learning experience.

Participants will work with professional artists to create original works, study classic works, and learn various techniques for writing and performing.
Cost includes:
teaching artists, materials/supplies, costumes, equipment, showcase, at least one field trip, High School participant registration, fees, travel in local / state / national festivals/ competitions and
work-based learning opportunities.

Students will participate in a mixed drum and dance class, minimum number of teaching artists is 2 per maximum student count. Cost includes: equipment, supplies/materials, costumes, showcase, at least 1 field trip and one full school presentation.

Students will participate in a rotation of multiple components of Hip Hop each week ranging from DJing, Emcee/lyricism, dance/break dancing, graffiti art, history, activism. Cost includes: teaching artists, materials/supplies, equipment, showcase, competitions/festival participation if interested, at least 1 field trip, and 1 full school workshop and work-based learning placement for high school students.
